Vicle Skincare Conceptual Photography Series
Vicle skincare photography Series
Vicle has always maintained a quiet and refined tone—
from its packaging to its online presence.
This Vicle skincare photography series followed that same direction,
with “restraint” as the guiding principle.
The products had almost no color, and the labels were minimal.
Bold backgrounds or decorative elements felt out of place for this brand.
So we relied instead on the most basic tools:
shadows, water, texture, and the surface of the formula itself.
At times, I wondered if this much restraint was the right approach.
Was I missing something?
Wouldn’t a more dramatic angle work better?
But commercial photography begins with respecting the client’s tone.
And in this case, that tone shaped every part of the Vicle skincare photography.
Each image centers on something small:
the way a cleanser slips through the fingers,
how light rests on a glass ampoule,
how product and shadow interact quietly.
No heavy messaging—just the product, seen in its own rhythm.
If the brand returns someday with a broader lineup,
I’d love to explore something different—
another side of Vicle skincare photography,
where more expressive ideas might have room to grow.
But for now, this series stands
as a record of what can be built
by staying still, and staying clear.
